defined by the charter of Chinese Oil Painting Society, the Society
is founded to meet the need of promoting the academic progress of
oil painting. The Society will carry out the following work. I. Exhibition COPS organize academic exchange projects and exhibitions which includes: Regular COPS exhibition Exhibitions on special topic Salon Concerned conferences Publishing catalogues, art books and collection of academic paper II. Academic Research COPS organizes various academic activities including: Conferences on China oil painting Conferences on special topics Publishing academic magazine and newspaper Organizing the edition and publish of concerned words and the interior information of COPS III. Establish China Oil Painting Arch COPS establish complete CV arch for oil painters at various parts of China through modern technique and Internet system, collect concerned information from national academic organizations and fine art institutions, And in this way, offer assistance on developing academic activities, art research and international art exchange. IV. Art Education Invite domestic and overseas expertise holding workshops that focus on introduce the successful experience of international artists, and Theorem, from various aspects, improve the accomplishment the skills of Chinese oil painters as well as refresh their ideas, at the same time, discover and foster talented people in this area. V. Social Service With the cooperation with other departments, COPS organize and take responsibility for concerned art creation and academic projects, popularize the art of oil painting, and at the same time, develop the career of cultural service and concerned consulting service to raise funds for COPS's academic activities. VI. International Art Exchange COPS cooperate with other countries on organizing exchange exhibitions and conferences, establishing studios overseas, and send Chinese artists abroad to run art research and academic exchange, and , with condition permitted, accept international artists who lecture and research in China. VII. Set up the Funds for China Oil Painting Development COPS is going to set up the funds for China oil painting development, which is sponsored by domestic and international organizations, enterprises and individuals who mean to push China oil painting's development. Besides, COPS will also set up the board of trustees to carry out concerned work. VIII. Awards COPS will set up China Oil Painting Awards, which includes: award for excellent work, award for personal achievement, award for educating achievement, award for achievement on art activities, etc., and theorem, praise and encourage the brilliant artists, art works, research results, and individuals and organizations who contribute to the development of China oil painting. |
