“借影与重现”影像通道展是配合第二届中国国际画廊博览会开幕而举办的主题性展示。在爱普生公司提供的技术支持及设备下，使观众在进入画廊区的通道行走过程中，感受到艺术家的创作是以现实生存的具体环境、记忆、经验等为创作资源，通过影像的镜头观察、思考本土当代文化的生存状态，提示出文化转型过程中，人们在视觉、心理、情感层面上的欣慰、冲突与矛盾，从而在自身的多重影像的语境中重现复杂的文化镜像，营造出虚幻、神秘、热闹的场景气氛和艺术的另类想像，并使观众形成视觉上的冲击而获得并重新审视图像信息，呈现一种中国当下纷繁与混杂的“境中之镜与像外之想”的炫色效果。以此强调艺术家在利用影像媒介方式的智性的、幽默的和超媚俗的品质，以及影像艺术在观念、语言方式上的渗透力及扩张性。

Channel Exposition
“Borrowing Shadows and Representing Afresh” Video Channel
Exposition” is a theme exposition in co-coordinating with
the Opening Ceremony of the Second China International Gallery
Exposition. With technique and equipment support of EPSON
Company, it provides the audiences who are passing through
this channel and heading to the gallery area an experience
of feeling the artist’s creative resources, which are realistic
concrete background, memory and experiences. Through the observation
of the film recorder, this video project makes people think
over the living state of local contemporary culture; reminds
people the feeling of satisfaction, confliction and contradiction
in the sense of sight, psycho, emotion therefore represents
afresh the complicated culture scenery through the multi video
languages and creates an illusory, mysterious and prosperous
atmosphere as well as special imagination besides. It also
gives visual compact to audiences in order to help people
obtaining and reconsidering the image information, shows the
complicated and mixed dazzling effect: “Mirror inside the
scenery and reflection outside of the image”. It highlights
artists’ characteristics in the way of using video medias
with intelligence, humors and out of venality, it also emphasizes
on the power of video art work in the function of penetrating
and extending in conception and languages.
