筱原研二郎先生是M＆I株式会社首席执行官兼总裁。

　　他于1949年出生在日本东京都，曾在日本最大的商社之一的伊藤忠株式会社的销售及商务发展部工作，同时还担任过伊藤忠画廊总裁，即现在的M＆I株式会社。它是日本艺术经营领域最重要的公司，他的股份是森建筑公司及伊藤忠集团。森艺术博物馆于2003年10月对外开放，是日本当代最大的艺术博物馆之一，他被任命为副馆长兼总经理。筱原研二郎先生目前忙于筹建另一新博物馆。成功举办了“快乐”开幕展之后，2004年他又回到了M＆I公司，目前仍活跃在日本艺术领域的第一线。

Kenjiro Shinohara
President and CEO, M&I Art System Co., Ltd.

Born in 1949 in Kyoto. Shinohara worked in the Sales and New Business Development Departments of Itochu Corporation Ltd. , one of the largest trading firms in Japan, and served as President of Itochu Gallery (currently M&I Art System Co., Ltd., whose shareholders are Mori Building Co. and Itochu Group, and it is the leading company in the art consulting business in Japan). He was appointed as a Vice Director and General Manager of the Mori Art Museum which was opened in October 2003. It is one of the largest contemporary art museums in Japan, and Shinohara engaged in launching the new museum. After large success of the opening exhibition, “Happiness”, he returned to the M&I in 2004, and now he actives in the front line of the art world in Japan.
